Thursday was our last day in Orlando. Mike and Maureen had an early flight back that morning. Kevin and I were driving back so we spent the morning and then the afternoon at Magic Kingdom - an awesome day!
The People Mover was our first ride; officially the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. It is a classic ride that first opened on July 1, 1975 (I was only 3 years old and wouldn't even visit Disney World until over 30 years later - and the PeopleMover would still be moving people). I wish we had one of these all over Perdido Key. Then we had Fast Passes for Barnstormer which was the last ride we had for this trip to Disney World.
Leaving Magic Kingdom, we took a boat over to Wilderness Lodge and had lunch at Geyser Point Bar & Grill which is a great open-air restaurant on the shore of Bay Lake. After that, our trip was over. We got an Uber back to All Star Music Resort where Kevin's car was parked and got on the road although we did make a quick stop at the outlet mall where Disney has a store before we actually left Orlando. What we did not do on this trip home was stop at any roadside gas stations and buy fresh fruit.
